Built circa 1760 as a hotel to provide accommodation for guests wishing to take the waters, Pannanich is situated in a rural position on Pannanich Hill over-looking the Dee valley just over a mile from Ballater. Externally Pannanich is a plain granite house freshened over the centuries. Internally Pannanich changes into a comfortable well appointed hotel. All rooms are en-suite with shower or bath and shower, and, have all the usual room accessories.In 2003 we have added a self catering unit which can be let as an annex suite. The hotel is totally non-smoking
